We are pleased to invite you to SMEEG 2013, an international conference on Stochastic Models in Ecology, Evolution and Genetics to be held in Angers, France, from December 9 to 13, 2013.

This event will bring together both mathematicians and biologists who share interests in theoritical or applied aspects of ecology, evolution and genetic modeling. Topics will include:

• Phylogenetic reconstructions, coalescents
• Generalized branching processes
• Large-scale behavior and rare events in population dynamics
• Spatio-temporal modeling of population dynamics
• High dimensional statistical inference in ecology, evolution and genetics

The conference aims to encourage discussions of the recent methodological and conceptual advances in these fields and to share knowledge with young researchers.

SMEEG 2013 is organized by a group of mathematicians and biologists from the University of Angers, Agrocampus Ouest and INRA, who are involved in MODEMAVE research project on mathematical models applied to vegetal biology.

Ce colloque est la réunion annuelle du GDR 2875 Topologie Algébrique et Applications ; son but général est de réunir des mathématiciens débutants et des chercheurs confirmés travaillant dans ce domaine. Le programme comprendra un cours et des exposés de recherche.

Le premier exposé commencera à 10h et le dernier terminera à 16h.

Site du colloque

An international conference on "Advanced methods in mathematical finance" will take place in Angers, France from the 2th to the 7th of September 2013. The conference starts 3th of September morning and ends 6th of September evening. This conference is devoted to the innovations in the mathematical analysis of financial datas, new numerical methods for finance and applications to the risk modeling. The topics selected include risk measures, credit contagion, insider trading, information in finance, stochastic control and its applications to portfolio choices and liquidation, models of liquidity, pricing, and hedging. During this manifestation we plan to present new models, new methods and new results in quantitative finance , to include an analysis of new financial products such as exotic derivatives, to give several application-oriented presentation of mathematical finance, to cover such topics as pricing and hedging with default. More precicely, the following topics will be previleged :

• Additional information and defaultable securities
• Analysis of markets with transation cost
• Backward stochastic differential equations
• High frequency trading in finance
• Modelling of financial market
• Pricing and hedging in credit risk modelling
• Stochastic partial differential equations
• Stochastic analysis and optimal control for Itô-Lévy processes
